DVG-1402S

Got my DVG-1402S router from Sipphone, hooked it up to my Asterisk box, and can receive calls on my Voicepulse line, and make calls on my Voipjet account. =) Hell yeah.

The only problem is the Caller ID information is not being passed to the handset(And AT&T 5.8Ghz w/ two handsets). It always comes up as “Outside Call.” Now, my SIP softphones are getting the caller ID data, as is the IAX2 softphone(Firefly), as is my cell phone(going through an IAX2 Termination Provider).

When I get this figured out I’ll let you know, but the DVG-1402S works really great, easy to set up too.

Postscript: I got it working, had to telnet in and muck around a bit to get it to work. Very cool. Now the phone speaks out the caller ID info, I wonder if it’ll work properly with extensions as the caller ID (3 or 4 numbers instead of 9 or 10). Very cool though. =)

I’m curious - what did you have to change to get Caller*ID to work? And does it send the right date to the phone? I’ve got a DVG-1102S and had to hack Asterisk a bit to get CID to work, although the date still doesn’t work in the CID.
