Asterisk 1.2 Beta 1 is Out
The long awaited Asterisk 1.2 Beta 1 is now available. Definately worth checking out. I’m gonna upgrade my little server this coming up weekend (or this week, if I get time). The biggest thing is the realtime extension support, so your configuration can be in the database and there is no need to restart the server for a minor configuration update. Very cool, very cool.

I’ll post my experiences with 1.2b1 as soon as I get to it! Argh! I’m back from Houston, family is ok, no problems, no trouble getting back either(getting back to Dallas, those going to Houston are in for a long drive).
