Asterisk Skype
Right now, there is currently no way to connect Asterisk and Skype. There is a bounty(mentioned above), but really there is no other way to do it. I’ve made an earlier entry about VoIP and Skype. There is also a good comment on hooking up Skype and Asterisk via the soundcard.
Unfortunately, there really isn’t any other information or progress. I believe we’re limited to Skype making the move to open it up to the Asterisk community(which I don’t think they’re interested in doing).
There is a new Skype competitor, Gizmo Project, which I’ve mentioned before. It has more than its fair share of bugs though.
